Love is not limited by time. When you committed yourself to loving someone, you make yourself committed to everything that person is. You are who you are, because of your history. How can one person love another if he or she does not know the other person’s history? The Church is built on relationship. We must learn to be open and honest. Many Christians want to keep their attitudes and their histories to themselves we need to learn how to bear on one another’s burdens.

The church can give strength to counter members’ fears that is the work of all of us! Christians have built walls around themselves, because they don’t trust anyone else. The body of Christ can help its members regain trust. Many more are co-dependent and get value from a relationship with another person. The Church can point to God’s love as the source of self-worth. We are not valuable because we love God, we are valuable because He loves us and gave His only begotten son for us.
Gratitude and praise are contagious. Although I imagine that those who saw what happened in Luk 13:10-17, when Jesus healed the infirmed woman, she was caught up in praise as well and those who missed the blessings of that day were those who decided to argue about religion instead of rejoicing over her deliverance. In heaven, the angels celebrate over one sinner who comes into the faith (Luke 15:10). They sing and praise God, because Jesus heals those who are broken. In the same manner, the people of God are to rejoice the broken hearted and emotionally wounded come to God’s house.
