MARRIAGE OR MIRAGE

..... ‘A man can divorce his wife by merely giving her a written notice of divorce.’ But I say that a man, who divorces his wife, unless she has been unfaithful, causes her to commit adultery. And anyone who marries a divorced woman also commits adultery" (Matt. 5:31-32)

Moses legalized divorce in Deuteronomy 24:1, because he saw the way and manner life was going in the congregation of the children of God. God Himself said I HATE divorce (Malachi 2:16) and Jesus warned against divorce (Matt. 19:1-9).

Let me be very blunt on this issue. There is great infidelities, de-trust and problems in Marriages today. Many lives (husbands or wives) are in bondage, ruined, destroyed because they got married wrongly or took wrong advice either through a religion leader or by calculation or instruction or whatever means they started. I have seen many great destinies mortgaged via marriage. Minds have been injured, careers crumbles, promising life destabilized due to marriage. I have read many evils in Marriages. I have seen many marriages undergoing hell even here on earth; some are praying for death to separate them; some don’t have joy; hell fire is better than some homes while some have accepted their Fate in frustration and live a restless life.

You know your portion as step-mother, wife or husband. What shall we do? More young marriages are breaking up, marriages no longer last; those that lasted are enduring and, not enjoying the marriage. All these marriage issues have led many men to continue in chain smoking, drinking, womanizing, keep late and live a hopeless life which has resulted to various sorts of death physically and spiritually. Unfortunately, these are becoming uncontrollable in the Christendom.

Who is to be blamed? Must we die in a frustrated union in the name of a religion commandment? What is the resolution that will bring solution? Why did Moses legalized divorce?

We are in the last days. Most people are not genuinely born again. Most people handled marriage as a child's play. Some believed or got married to their partners because of materials reasons. Some because of fame, social purpose and so on. Such marriages will not last. Some had no conviction of who they married. 70% marriages are based on what to get from either party. 10% marriages are only based on divine making while 20% married for marriage sake.

Brethren, beware! Think of these and let your marriage work.

Don't forget, He who said "I say" is He who will judge the whole world in the end. May we see as God sees.
